-Clam never wanted to be Queen and wanted to follow Watermover till the end of her days and HONOR was her main goal in life. But when her sister became too obsessed with her Animus Powers Clam had to become Queen to stop her and killed her mother Bonito. Watermover in her anger that Clam became Queen before her injured her and left her for dead. Until a SeaWing named Shearwater came to her aid. Though Clam couldn't swim or fly properly with her injured wing she soon gets a group of SeaWing who will help her kill her sister along with Talapia, her father Bubble, Shearwater and her brother Cod and an army.
While Shearwater was trying to take over the other tribes so that SeaWing will be over all the tribes Clam and her army swung into action. Her mate to protect Clam killed Watermover but lived through the ordeal. Clam then had many dragonets but most where still borns she had one daughter and that was all.

Clam is NOT a Mary Sue. She is a bossy brat but a good leader. Honor to her tribe and loyalty is her main goal in life. Her wing though became limp over time allowing her not able to fly at the age of 34.

Appearance
|Mirage is a rather large, slightly golden, sandy-yellow scaled dragon with obsidian black optics. She has a pattern of black diamonds similar to a diamondback rattlesnake's beginning at her forehead and sliding down her neck, spine and tail. Inside the center of each of her markings rests a single black dot. Her underbelly is a near white hue matching that of her horns and talons. The bumpy spines that begin at her head and finish at the end of her tail-tip are an unusually shade of amber. She has a black necklace embedded with ebony-colored pearls. At the end-the midpoint to be exact- of her pendant abides a black piece of Skyfire carved into a symbol of the sun.|

Personality
|Unlike former royalties before her, Mirage is a very generous and compassionate queen toward her subjects. She also has a sense of humor which most SandWing's lack. However, like her name implies, she is like a sly illusion. Mirage is extremely cunning when needed and she has a way of making other dragons think by her point of view. She is especially intelligent and has an alarmingly quick reaction time. Mirage is loyal to her tribe and would even put her life before it. She has a gentle spirit and is sometimes caught aimlessly staring when deep in thought.|


History
|Mirage grew up with three siblings: one sister and two brothers. She was the last to hatch, giving her the title of the youngest of the royal clutch. However, instead of growing up in the SandWing Palace their mother-Queen Barren- sent them to be taught by the elders of a lower village. Queen Barren wanted them to become wise, sharing and considerate. In doing so, she hoped they would become dragons that would be looked up to as a sign to prevent wars from occurring. Time passed and soon the four dragonets became adolescent- ready to return to their rightful place in the SandWing Kingdom. Mirage had learned much and the knowledge she cherished. One day, however, Queen Barren fell exceedingly ill. This, of course, aroused many concerns. If Barren were to die without one of the two sisters challenging her, another war would arise. Princess Sultry-Mirage's sister-was in no place to duel even if their mother was afflicted. This was due to the lack of her poisonous barbed tail- a recessive gene carried amongst the royal family. Rather, she anticipated Mirage would be cowardly and avoid a fight with the Queen SandWing. But, the young SandWing princess refused to begin another war. If she lost against her mother, at least Sultry would become Queen. So, that fateful night, Mirage had confronted her mother for a joust. Reluctantly, she had accepted. Although she was ill, Queen Barren was still a worthy competitor. However, she was still feeble gaining Mirage the advantage. The fight was over by sunrise and Mirage was crowned Queen. She sometimes will remain awake at night, thinking respectably about her mother.|

Name: Queen Tremendous

Tribe: RainWing

Appearance: Tremendous, despite her name, is a small, thin RainWing. She has a small crest of feathers just under her horns, and a distinctive upside-down V at the tip of her snout from a run-in with a hawk as a hatchling. Aside from these identifying features, she has the same color-changing abilities as any RainWing.

Personality: Tremendous is a quiet ruler, bordering on the meek side. Her idea of good leadership is making as many dragons as possible happy. However, as a new queen, she hasn't had the time or experience to realize that such a thing is physically impossible. She hates loud noises and prefers to keep ceremonies as quiet as possible. When other RainWings are enjoying sun time, Tremendous can often be seen running errands, hunting, gathering fruit, and taking care of royal business that she won't do during the rest of the day because of the hustle and bustle of the RainWing village. Tremendous also hates sloths and other RainWing pests, being bothered by the weird texture of fur and the fact that she can't understand their body language.

History: No one in the RainWing village actually expected Tremendous to live when she was hatched. She arrived to this world late, the last of all the eggs to hatch. She was called 'Tremendous' in the hope that a strong name would give her the will to live, and in a sense, it did. She was a more studious RainWing as she grew, preferring to learn about the different types of fruit and animals than to fly around aimlessly with no plans. That's largely what made the RainWing queens look to Tremendous as a potential queen - her serious, careful nature. She was a careful guard, though she was horrid with her sleeping darts' aim, and couldn't shoot venom from her teeth with any kind of accuracy. Still, her mind is what eventually allowed her to compete for the royal crown, and she was happy to accept the duty, believing that she was the right dragon for the job. After all, she knew so much - surely, there was much she could do to help improve the quality of life for all RainWings!

Other:
-She is bisexual.
-She likes to play games similar to chess and checkers, but for dragons.
-She talks to bugs because they understand her, and they can often be seen crawling over her scales when she has her public audiences.

Name: Truthseeker

Rank: Queen

Tribe: Nightwings

Appearance: Tall and long-limbed, a little plump. Has a round, sloping face and pale blue eyes. Her scales are a very dark plum color, overlapped by scales of a lighter shade. The spikes along her spine are short and rounded.

Personality: Truthseeker is a very quiet individual. Unlike most other queens, she is not descended from a line of royal dragons. Privately, she thinks this give her more in common with Rainwing queens than other tribes, but neglects to share this thought. She is very hard to read, but internally, her thoughts are mile-a-minute. She's calculating, and could be pushed to ruthlessness. She values independence and tranquility most, and that's what most of her efforts as queen are spent securing. She can be unpredictable. It's not in her character to lash out impulsively- she is disciplined, and makes decisions with a forced cold impartiality. It so far has lead her to success, but repressing her own fears and impulses is extremely hard on her, psychologically. She functions more like a tool than an individual, and has started to think of herself that way.

History: Truthseeker was born to two Nightwing parents in the Nightwing village. Her childhood was a little hectic- her parents had friends all over the kingdom. She traveled between different Rainwing villages frequently.

As an adult, she began to seriously question why the Nightwings lived with the Rainwings. It felt odd- didn't the Nightwings deserve their own kingdom? A close friend of hers, Perfection, was sure that it was wrong that they lived as simply an accessory to the Rainwings.

Truthseeker read the few ancient scrolls the Rainwing kingdom had on the matter. There still was little information, just that the Nightwings had been absorbed into the Rainwing kingdom after the Nightwings' old kingdom had been destroyed.

Over a few years, she gathered Nightwing supporters, and issued an ultimatum: they were taking a remote section of the Rainwing kingdom for themselves, and Rainwings were to respect this. The Nightwings burned a line in the forest to mark the new borders.

Perfection eventually convinced Truthseeker to assume position as queen. Currently, this is a point of contention; just because Truthseeker started this movement doesn't mean she's royal material! Truthseeker has beaten back two challengers so far. One still lives, and she fears this will be taken as a sign of queenly weakness.

Truthseeker emphasizes that she does not wish for any bloodshed, and that any Nightwings are free to join at any time. Non-Nightwings are welcome for temporary visits, provided they prove their good intent.

Truthseeker is going to institute the ancient system of passing down queenship to the queen's daughters through duels to the death in her new kingdom. She privately thinks that the system the Rainwings' use would cause much less suffering for the queens, but doesn't want to compromise her already unstable rule with such a declaration.

Hmm. Well, how about this - you have to have a good form to be a queen, an advisor, or part of the royal family, but you simply have to post a form here to be any rank that isn't commoner and I'll sign you up.

you're welcome! i'll send non-commoner forms in through here in the future. it's probably a good idea to had that requirement into the character creation rules. i'd offer to add it for you, but i just checked and i don't seem to have topic-editing powers.

i think since there's three staff members (myself, you and queenclam) if one of us wants/needs something like this, we should have one of us look over it. i submitted a royal guard character in the regular character bios section earlier, so that would be a thing i'd send for one of you to look over now that i know non-commoners need a look over.

i do have two ideas for queens, so here's my second one. i also edited truthseeker's history- it was a bit verbose...

Name: Lion

Tribe: Sandwing

Appearance: A thick-limbed and muscular Sandwing. She's slightly smaller and height and length than other Sandwings, but much stronger. Her scales are a diluted yellow-brown, with a pale underside and a short brown frill. The rims of her scales are black. She has two small gold hoops piercing through each of her ear, and wears additional gold jewelry when making official royal appearances.

Personality: Lion is a composed dragon. She's carefully crafted a reputation as a fair and honest queen, and will go many lengths to maintain it. She's not a backstabber, but she does believe two things: first, that a reputation is one of the most powerful weapons a queen has at her disposal, and secondly, that honest methods are not always the most effective. She tries to keep her kingdom stable and out of conflict, sometimes with her operations taking place in the shadows. Lion doesn't lie to others, necessarily... but she might leave out a detail or two, for the good of the kingdom. She dislikes violence when it's up close, but is not afraid to hire an assassin or two to get the job done.

Lion doesn't have close friends. She has advisors, she has trusted political connections, but she has no one to confide in. She quietly bottles the strain of ruling a kingdom. Lion isn't easy to reach out to- she's busy worrying about assassination plots, keeping her subjects fed and keeping foreign relations in check. She sees all other dragons as either potential enemies or potential assets- there aren't room for friends when you're queen. She's lonely, but refuses to acknowledge her own emotions.

History:

Lion's mother was a princess, not a queen. It was pretty scandalous for Princess Sandstone to have children before taking the throne, but Queen Tortoise overlooked it, so the rest of the kingdom followed. Lion had one sister, Cactus, and three brothers, but she rarely met her brothers.

Lion spent a lot of her childhood being shuffled around the Sandwing palace. Princess Sandstone went to great lengths to shelter her children and give them a good education. Princess Sandstone herself was the only heir to the throne- her sisters had died of sickness and been killed in a royal duel, respectively. She was adamantly a pacifist. She loved Queen Tortoise dearly, and refused to take a throne that involved a dead mother. She planned to wait for her mother's death.

Lion wasn't having it. She heard the others talking, she'd read her history- the Sandwing throne was taken through a duel and possession of the Eye of Onyx.

Against her mother's wishes, she dueled Queen Tortoise. The fight was absolutely brutal, but she won by an inch. In the aftermath, she and her mother had an even more vicious verbal fight. Sandstone left the Sandwing palace. Lion was no daughter to her anymore. Sandstone had no power over Queen Lion's position in the Sandwing royal family anymore, but her words hurt. Lion believes it was in her right to take the throne, but to this day she's never made up with her mother. Her relationship with her sister is distant. Cactus shows no desire to rule, but shows little desire to be friends with her sister either.

Name: Caiman

Rank: Queen

Tribe: MudWing

Appearance: Fat. Round. Hugely, unapologetically, enormously fat. Caiman has wide brown eyes, sharp horns, high cheekbones, and is fat all over. She can still fly, of course, and is quite muscular underneath the fat, but even so. She's a lovely light brown with some darker smudges close to her neck and spine with a tan belly and wing membranes.

Personality: Simultaneously jovial and calculating, no one is quite sure what to expect from Caiman. She definitely has a mean streak beneath her charm and charisma, and has no qualms with killing off anyone who gets in her way or says something not in her favor. She rules her kingdom with an iron claw, and won't allow for any disobedience. Dragonets as young as two years old are subject to capital punishment for crimes against the crown under her rule, and she would make it younger if her advisors would stop caring about what the peasants think.

History: Born the bigwings of a clutch of four much stronger, healthier dragons, Caiman learned quickly that you have to be manipulative and brutal to get what you want in life. She's been selfish from the get-go, and fantasized about killing her mother and becoming Queen from a young age. She learned war tactics better than any of her siblings, and the conditions from which she was unsibed are a little... suspect, to say the least, but Caiman is able to convince anyone she speaks to that they were just accidents. All four of them.

When Caiman was old enough, she immediately challenged her mother for the throne. Her mother suspected that she would be coming, but she hadn't suspected that Caiman would blind her first. Once her eyes were destroyed, Caiman went in for the kill. It was over quickly and her mother suffered little. With her blood still on her teeth, Caiman looked to her guards and said, "Give her a funeral before you crown me."

Caiman took charge immediately, putting law after law in place. Her guards respected her, but did not like her. Who would?

Well, perhaps one fellow. A charming, sweet little dragon named Muskrat. He was skinny and whiskery, a merchant who built up his business from the Diamond Spray Delta. Frequently he came by selling the hides of rare and unique animals, giving some to the Queen as gifts, and eventually his soft-spoken nature and good humor stole Caiman's heart. He is still her loyal husband and hopes to have many children with her, but prefers to keep to the sidelines. "I'm a business dragon, not a politician."

me neither! i think i'll delete my reply as it looks a little odd by itself. he simply posted an application for a historian/advisor dragon and i thought it looked good beyond the details i mentioned.

Name: Starsight

Tribe: Nightwing

Rank/Occupation: Historian or Advisor (Either works, both is fine too.)

Physical Appearance:
StarSight shares the physical appearance like most Nightwings do, Scales as dark as a moonless night, with speckles of silver here and there that look like the shining stars. His most defining characteristic are the Milky white orbs that are his eyes, with scattered black dots here and there. Naturally blind born that way.

His dorsal side is a Dark grey in color, matted down with somewhat permanent stains of ink, dirt, and mud from all the times he's tripped over himself (Or another dragon) and ended up sprawled out on the floor. By choice he allows a lei of flowers to be draped around his neck at all times, as well as some woven between his spines and between his horns. An act he sees as an attempt to further bond with their Rainwing neighbors.

In stark contrast, his ventral side is a dark violet in color, his legs and underbelly occasionally marred by a simple scrape, scratch or scar from some forgotten misadventure. His wings, like other Nightwings bear the constellation like markings, his being exhibited in a delicate outwards spiral.

He is averagely sized for a Nightwing male of his age, he is Lithe, though he's not agile enough to make a good use of that.

Personality: Oddly enough he as a sunny and bright disposition, and is rarely seen without a silly grin plastered across his snout. He’s more than content to listen to someone else describing something for him. More over, he's an intellectual, applying more logic to things than emotion. (Though when pressed, will make rash emotional decisions instead.) He enjoys telling stories and tales, along with passing along a piece of advice to any who need it, a "Blind wise-man" of sorts. He mostly enjoys retelling the History of the Nightwings to any who would listen, as well as weaving proverbs so that the mistakes made in the past do not come back to haunt them again.

He is more liable to attack with his words than his body, a well toned wit and word hoard proving to be enough to spark sense in his detractors, and even if it doesn’t, it leaves them with something to think about for some time.

He thinks of the Rainwings as kind neighbors, despite the bad blood from the past, and often seeks verbal discourse with their number, seeking another with whom he might debate with. Moreover, he thinks of any dragon as his personal equal, never placing himself above or below anyone, save the queens of course.

"We must learn from our Past... so that we may change our own futures."


History:
Named "Starsight" due to the appearance of his eyes (A cruel irony indeed), lived most of his early years simply learning how to navigate around, (thanks to assistances from a notable few) primarily using a combination of sounds, smells and the feeling of the area around him. Independent to a fault, he simply assumed he could work things out himself, but slowly would grow to realize that having those willing to assist was far better than having no assistance at all.

Over time, a thirst and desire for knowledge made itself apparent. Friends would read texts and stories to him upon request, and he would frequently grill and question adults about their history and past as a tribe. Of course, the latter met some stiff resistance, but a mind hungry for knowledge is rarely denied.

Over time, he'd learned how to get around by himself, mostly by means of using a sizable stick to probe the area in front of him (and with the assistance of others for a time) . Doing so, he began to venture out more, speaking with close friends and waxing poetically about history and the major events happening around the world. His hope was that no wars would plague Phyrria ever again, and instead that a beneficial peace would last for generations. A world where knowledge and trade was prized over martial strength, and were all the tribes see each other as equals.
